The Camp Broadway Ensemble provides young artists the opportunity to appear in a professionally produced musical theatre performance—often on one of the world’s most iconic stages such as Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, and Madison Square Garden.
Once cast, all Camp Broadway Ensemble members participate in an event-focused rehearsal led by a Broadway team that culminates in the public performance. To appear with The Camp Broadway Ensemble, a child must attend all rehearsals—there are no exceptions.
My daughter is a Senior Musical Theatre student at California School of the Arts-San Gabriel Valley. She spent 3 awesome days with Camp Broadway in Los Angeles while preparing and rehearsing for the 87th Hollywood Christmas Parade and she had a BALL! She met great kids and staff. She will always remember this awesome experience she had. Thank you, Camp Broadway!
We came across Camp Broadway randomly and after reading about the collaboration with the New York Pops Birthday Gala, my son, Scott, decided to give the audition a try. We had no idea what to expect and were both blown away. The amount of material they learned in two days, instruction and coaching they received, and the top-notch performance alongside people he looks up to was beyond anything we could have expected. I wish this could be an annual experience for him and if we were closer, we certainly would. Thank you, Kathleen Campbell and Melissa Caolo for your kindness and for such a professional and motivating experience.
Camp Broadway deserves a standing ovation for its unparalleled dedication to developing and nurturing theater-loving kids! The opportunity to train with real Broadway professionals has given my daughter, Katie, a tremendous boost in her self-confidence- it has quite simply been a life-changing experience.
