• My child has not attended a Camp Broadway program before - is that OK?

  • What is the Rialto Readers?

The Rialto Readers is a national book club designed for kids ages 8 – 15 who love to read and have an interest in the arts.

  • How are the books selected?

The books are selected by K – 6 school librarian, Stacey Rattner. Stacey collaborates with a diverse group of authors, publishers, librarians, educators, and artists to select books around a quarterly theme chosen by the team at Camp Broadway. There will be 3 books in each of three categories: Picture Books, Middle Reader and Young Adult.

  • Is it free to join?

Yes.  The Rialto Readers Book Club Membership is free of charge.

  • What are the benefits of a Membership?

Subscribers will receive a quarterly newsletter, delivered via email, that features the reading lists in all three categories. The newsletter will also contain information about the books, the selection process, and feature stories geared toward young readers who have an interest in the performing arts.

More benefits are coming soon including, download-able bookmarks, games, and other activities related to the books featured in the reading list.

  • Does this program take place entirely online?
