Holly Raye

Holly Raye Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Holly received a scholarship to the Boston School of Ballet (Boston Ballet Company) at the age of 14. After placing runner-up in the 1984 Miss Michigan Pageant (Miss America Brand) she headed to NYC to pursue her love of dance and theatre.

Some of her performing highlights include:

Broadway: Swing, Guys and Dolls, and Dream & Nightmares starring Master Illusionist David Copperfield. Holly was featured in five of Mr. Copperfield’s Emmy-winning CBS TV Specials. She was dance captain for the world premiere of Houdini: The Musical at the Segal Center for the Performing Arts in Montreal. She’s been featured in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, The Tony Awards, Cabaret, and Disney Live Productions of Hercules and The Little Mermaid.

Holly has had the honor of performing alongside Liza Minelli, Shirley MacLaine, dance coach to Penelope Cruz and assistant choreographer for the film Vanilla Sky.

Holly has been choreographing and directing for Drama Desk Award-winning company, Camp Broadway® since 2007. Holly was the director and choreographer for the Joci Awards (2015, 2016) at the Empire Theatre in San Antonio, and Before Broadway, a cabaret intensive for young adult pre-professionals at Feinstein’s 54 Below in NYC. She also choreographed performances at Madison Square Garden for kids during the WNBA Liberty basketball games.

Favorite career moments:

Principal dancer in the TV Series FAME and presenting Oprah Winfrey with the Elie Wiesel Humanitarian Award.

Now living in Maplewood, NJ with her son Leo, Holly is the Producing Director for Franklin Elementary School Musicals in Summit, NJ.

J Navarro

J Navarro

J. Navarro is on faculty at NYU/Tisch School of the Arts in the Department of Drama’s New Studio on Broadway, where he has Music Directed Company, James Joyce’s The Dead, The Seven, Spring Awakening, Sweeney Todd, and The Who’s Tommy. He was Music Director on the acclaimed Adding MachineOff-Broadway (Lortel, Obie, Outer Critics Circle Awards), received a Best Orchestrations Nomination for his work on This One Girl’s Story(NYMF 2011), launched Barrio Grrrl!at the Kennedy Center (Helen Hayes Nomination), helmed We The People (Lortel Nomination) and 2 additional National Tours for Theatreworks USA, and has been a Guest Artist at CAP21, Columbia University, the Juilliard School, Lincoln Center Theater, University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and the Stella Adler School. J. has served in many Music Departments on Broadway, including The Apple Tree (starring Kristen Chenoweth), Curtains (starring David Hyde Pierce), The House of Blue Leaves (Piano Coach to Ben Stiller), the current Broadway hit Kinky Boots, Mary Poppins, Next to Normal, Spelling Bee, and many more. He has also conducted shows across the country, including Barrington Stage Company, Hangar Theatre, Two River Theater, TheatreWorks – Palo Alto, and Westport Country Playhouse. J. is a Jonathan Larson Award winning composer/lyricist.

Anna Raful

Anna Raful

Anna Raful has grown from one of Camp Broadway’s Teaching Artists to the Director/Choreographer for the Shining Stars program in NYC and on the road. Anna was fortunate to bring the Shining Stars program to Beijing in 2019, teaching children the joy of musical theater and the lessons of Dr. Seuss.

She graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Musical Theater. As an actor, Anna has toured the country with various shows, as well as performing regionally in the NY State area. Some of her favorite roles include: Nieve Que in SkippyJon Jones: Snow What?, Mazeppa in Gypsy, and Sarraghina in Nine.

Anna’s favorite audience members are her family and especially her 6 nieces and nephews.

Isaak Olson

Isaak Olson

Isaak Olson is proud to have worked with Camp Broadway for over 8 years now! A California native and proud UC Irvine graduate, Isaak lives and teaches in NYC.  Some of his favorite theatrical credits include: Oklahoma!, Les Miserables, Footloose, RENT, and Spring Awakening. “Thank you for your continued support of the arts & live theater!!”
