Camp Broadway's Shining StarsSM is for young campers to tap into their natural creativity through singing, dancing and theatre crafts. Taught by professional teaching artists, your child will not only learn songs and dance moves, they will paint their own scenery and decorate their own costumes, too.
Sessions are held from 9am-2pm each day. The program includes lunch, a snack, two Camp Broadway t-shirts, all craft materials, and a special momento. On Friday, the children will present a simple yet delightful musical presentation in the rehearsal studio, for their family members, demonstrating what they have learned.
The Director Canedy Knowles is an accomplished performer and a talented teaching artist. She has been with Camp Broadway for the last ten years where she helped to develop the Shining Stars program. Canedy has choreographed over fifteen musicals and she travels the country teaching master classes in dance, acting, improvisation and video production and acting in television and movies. |
